Salary: $600 -1500 per day
CSA is looking for Owner Operators with their own equipment in good condition that can service the Greater Bay Area and/or day trip within the state of California.
Drivers will have daily runs of LTL freight for pickups and deliveries for our customs and will be paid by order.
We require a Tractor with a 53' Trailer
Drivers will be paid semi-monthly. We are looking for long term partners with opportunism for additional equipment.
Drivers Must Have:

Office provides dedicated local and long-distance truck transportation for sponsor's organizational cargo within the continental USA. Office is also responsible to perform sponsor's office move's which occur primarily within the Washington Metro Area (WMA), but also at locations within the continental US. Office interacts with sponsor facilities within the WMA, and across the continental USA, as well as occasional interaction with sponsor's partner offices in Canada and Mexico. Truck drivers typically interact with other office warehouseman and other sponsor office warehouseman, as well as sponsor administrators. Drivers will also interact with non-sponsor personnel at other government agency facilities. The main office is within a large warehouse located in Springfield, Virginia, and is a fast paced operation with a high daily cargo volume of various size, weight and configuration. Office is comprised of a mix of approximately 20 sponsor employees and contractors working at multiple sponsor locations within the WMA. Drivers will also perform long-haul trucking within the continental USA. Long-haul trip lengths typically range from same day out/same day in, to overnight, to one week or two weeks. Two-person team drivers operate on a non-stop basis (one sleeps/one drives) when driving outside the WMA because the cargo is classified at various levels.

Position Title: Tank Wagon Driver
Location: Montpelier, ID
Major Responsibilities
Safely transports bulk oil & fuel off of tank wagon & van trucks in a professional, safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.
Operates pumps and valves both on and off the truck and safely fills tanks of all types and sizes using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings.
Secures all products, hoses, and other essential tools required of the job are secured by using approved securing method, such as tie downs, straps, etc.
Load and unload tank wagon or van truck when required while performing frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of products, hoses, and applicable tools for the job.
Ensure customer orders are correct and handled and delivered by DPIM (Distributor Product Integrity Manual) standards. Monitor key performance data to anticipate customer service problems, opportunities and risks. Report problems to supervisor in a timely and accurate manner and follow-up to ensure problem resolutions.
Represent C&B to our customers, the public and the Trucking Industry in a professional manner always.
Coordinate with Dispatchers to resolve any issues, problems or concerns that arise in transit or during delivery. Decide and disseminate solutions to meet and satisfy customer needs. Coordinate with management, Dispatchers, customers, and fellow employees to fulfill customer orders.
Maintains a viable relationship with Management, Dispatchers, customers, and fellow employees to ensure customers ‘needs are met at all times
Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under State and Federal Laws and Regulations.
Provides accurate accident, safety and various other related reporting as required. Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods by completing and post safety inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order. Report vehicle defects, incidents, traffic violations or damage to the trucks, trailers, and/or equipment immediately.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor
May assist in warehouse on an Ad Hoc basis by safely operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) for the purpose of moving large and heavy items safely and effectively. Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport, including package or bulk conveyance, protecting the product integrity and minimizing the risk for spills.
Employee must demonstrate safe work and risk management practices. Communicate and enforce all safety and security issues. Report and process all employee and/or customer incidents or unsafe acts in accordance with Parkland policy and procedure.
Ensure that confidentiality of data collected and stored are maintained.
Employee is expected to set priorities and meet deadlines. Employee is responsible for planning and carrying out assignments, resolving conflicts that arise, informing and coordinating with others as expected. Employee is accountable for ensuring the technical accuracy of their work and maintaining good working relations, both internal and external to Parkland.
